Improving Health & Safety Standards in Bhutan

We are delighted to confirm our appointment by the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources, Bhutan, to carry out a review of the country’s National Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) policy during February and March 2012.

The Government of Bhutan is committed to improving OHS standards and performance in workplaces across the country and has engaged Antaris Consulting to carry out a review that will result in our making recommendations for a National OHS policy that best suits the requirements of Bhutan, consulting with key stakeholders to review the draft Policy, and developing the capacity of the Department to implement and enforce OHS policy and regulations.

Backed by the World Bank, this vital work should impact significantly on both standards and performance in Health and Safety in this fast-emerging economy.
